At Cocopotamus Chocolate, we produce our line of all natural, gluten-free, fudge-filled gourmet chocolate truffles because we remember the pure joys of childhood. We want to continue to live that joy every day, through simple things like food, family & friends. Food is the golden chain that unites us all. And as we always say, our favorite part of that chain is gourmet chocolate. In fact, at Cocopotamus we live for dark chocolate fudge. Currently we have a range of 29 flavors of creamy fudge-filled chocolate truffles (one of which is vegan chocolate). The fruity side of things is represented by Lemon Shiver (our zesty lemon fudge truffles), Blimey (our Key lime pie caramel truffles), Hang Loose (our coconut-filled ode to Blue Hawai'i), and by Razzmanian Devil (our combination of black raspberry and raspberry brandy). Some of our gourmet chocolate truffles have a nuttier profile - Planet Marz  (almonds and rum), and Godfather (mocha almond fudge with Italian espresso and rum). Purists love our simple beauty, Cupcake, which is deep, dark gourmet chocolate fudge truffles without any special flavorings at all. Other old-fashioned favorites include our mint fudge truffles, "Santa's Addiction" (pure peppermint fudge, rolled in peppermint powdered sugar - we so do not wait for the holidays to eat this baby!), Kiss Blarney (pure peppermint with rum truffles), and Cuppa Joe (fudge with dark-roasted Italian espresso truffles). The spicy side of things is represented by Hottie (our cinnamon & chili fudge) and Naked Hottie (just cinnamon, and rolled in a sweet combination of cinnamon & sugar), and Gilligan's Fave (wild ginger chocolate fudge truffles). For the foodie, gourmet chocolate truffle picks include Mr. French (gourmet fudge truffles topped with what we call fancy-schmancy salt) and Sumos Never Sleep(chocolate truffle infused with pure Japanese matcha green tea). We've always got lots of other gourmet flavors in development, because we get great ideas from people & places all the time. Case in point, someone just told us about sour cream fudge - intriguing! Our new flavor is a foodie pick - Rosie Posy, gourmet chocolate fudge truffles infused with Mediterranean rose water.

Making a Difference: A Gourmet Fudge Difference

One thing taste-testers love about Cocopotamus chocolate truffles is, they look different from old-fashioned fudge. Our gourmet chocolate fudge truffles are not like a slab of sweet, grainy fudge. Instead they are smooth, creamy, darker and less sweet. Our fudge is so creamy, in fact, we like to put it into dark chocolate shells. But why fudge truffle balls? We didn't start that way. We tried molding gourmet chocolate shells in various shapes & sizes. There were big shapes and small; people like the flavor balance of fudge-to-dark chocolate shell best with small sizes. Next, we tried various shapes. Balls, cubes, pyramids, even. There was a crescent moon phase, and the rather cliched heart phase too, if memory serves. The little fudge truffle balls were the cutest of all, and people told us they had the best punchy flavor. The final thing that tipped us over the edge? Well, we do have a ball making 'em, you know!
