Our Chocolate Ready for TV
ByWe just came back from a week of hustle and bustle in Florida. About a month back, an executive from a morning talk show, the Balancing Act of Lifetime TV network, called. We were thrilled, to say the least, to be invited to be on their show. So last week, we flew to their Fort Lauderdale studio to shoot a 3 to 4 minute segment featuring our very own Cocopotamus Chocolate. For some reason, we weren’t nervous at all. The shoot was surprisingly speedy. It took only two takes and we were done. But what an experience it was. I couldn’t believe the number of people it takes to put a show together. There’s the writers, the producers, the director, the host, the camera crew, the sound man, the lighting men, the coordinator, the food stylist, just to name a few. Everyone in the production crew was so nice. They made sure that we were comfortable. They even offered donuts (our daughter was in heaven). The host, Beth, was absolutely fabulous. Boy, she could talk. I guess that’s why she’s a talk show host.
